Patient Participation Group (PPG) to meet in Spring

PPGs are about implementing real, positive change in their communities. Patients have long valued the relationship with their GP and general practice. However the dynamics of this relationship have changed over recent years.

PPGs have an increasingly important role to play in helping to give patients a say in the way services are delivered to best meet their needs, and the needs of the local community.

A PPG meeting was held at the Primary Care Network in 2023 but this meeting had a specific focus. This meeting in Spring 2024 will look to bring together representatives from across the practices within the Primary Care Network to better understand expectations of the members on how the group will run and where they want to input into primary care services.
